Our Pastor

 
Pastor Jamal Rashad Oliver was born at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL on September 22, 1981. He was raised in Dadeville, Alabama and is a graduate of Dadeville High School.  He holds an Associate of Arts Degree from Jefferson State Community College as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Alabama.
 
Pastor Jamal is the father of three children Kyla Mechele, Michael Jamal, and Kyndal Mckinzie.  Pastor Jamal relocated to Auburn upon being called as the Pastor of White Street Baptist Church.  He believes that each believer should have “A Passion for Christ and Compassion for People”.  He serves his community as a board member of the North Auburn Housing Development Corporation, as a former member of the Board of Directors for Alabama Rural Ministry also known as ARM, and as a former member of the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County. He also founded Empower Campus Ministries of Auburn University.
